The new Nepallo is a first-class pontoon available at Camping World stores. It’s easy to buy because there are only a few options to select: length, power, layout and color. Everything else is standard.
Performance highlights include a 40 mph top speed and hitting 30 mph in 9.8 seconds. Nepallo shines at fuel economy, netting 5.2 mpg at 19 mph.
This Quad Lounge Sport Toon (QL-ST) offers three 25-inch-diameter pontoons with welded lifting strakes and full-length aluminum underskinning. The superstructure uses aluminum cross members 24 inches on center, with a 3/4-inch-thick marine plywood deck. Nepallo offers a lifetime warranty for structural components, and five years for electrical, flooring, canvas, upholstery and furniture.
Aboard, the QL layout forms two conversation pits, one each fore and aft, separated by the console amidships. This is a single-console boat, with matching seats for the pilot and navigator. The console is fitted with analog instruments and a tilt-helm SeaStar hydraulic steering system. A Kicker marine Bluetooth marine sound system is standard.
The perimeter enclosure is extruded, welded aluminum, powder-coated in silver with blue panels. It’s a crisp, attractive appearance. The bow features a small deck extension to make docking and boarding easier. The forward curved loungers are pillow-topped in high-quality gray vinyl with blue inset stitches in an attractive diamond pattern. Storage abounds under all seat cushions, accessed with dual-action aluminum hinges affixed to Rotocast plastic seat bases. Aft, a second set of curved facing loungers is just aft of the cockpit. An extended deck outside the stern perimeter enclosure features a standard stainless-steel watersports tow bar and an aluminum folding boarding ladder.
More standard necessities include a full mooring cover, docking and interior lighting, and deluxe tilting and swiveling captain’s chairs. Nepallo offers a complete rig, and the 24QL-ST represents an excellent value. The performance and standard features make for a strong package.
